In an open-plan kitchen and living area, it’s essential to make use of every inch of space. Our customer in Swarland wanted NOOK to provide her new-build property with stylish storage solutions that divided the space without reducing its size.
We knew that the kitchen was the heart of Catherine’s home and it needed additional storage that wouldn’t encroach on the living space. Taking the customer’s needs and design preferences into account, we fitted a large purpose-built pantry in the kitchen area. We also designed and built an impressive solid oak media wall to display a large TV and keep game consoles, DVDs and other tech devices tucked away.
By incorporating a custom-built desk area below the media wall, we provided Catherine and her household with the ideal set-up for occasional tasks. As with all of our projects, because we carry out all the design, building and installation work ourselves, we were able to ensure the perfect fit for the space.
Opting for a bold and elegant shade of blue, Stiffkey from Farrow & Ball, we were able to complement the property’s existing colour scheme while adding a definite sense of distinction. Catherine was impressed with the result and commented that we provided a “meticulous use of space combined with fine finishes and exceptional quality.”
